9-year-old Mustang looking for a new home. Has had a bit of time off but is getting back into work. He is just proving to be a little too much horse for me as I have not been riding consistently for around 4 years. I personally need something a little bit slower and shorter.
He is well trained, a little lazy, but will work once respect is established.
Could be an excellent endurance prospect or try him in another sport. He has a floating canter that looks effortless. He would do better in a dry lot as he has gotten a little fat on pasture. Beautiful big and tough mustang feet.
He stands 15.2 and is around 1300 lbs right now. Solid legs and stout, definitely has some draft in his lines. UTD on vaccines and teeth due in February.
Loads in a straight load and a slant, but can take a try or two in a straight load. He stands tied well. He is good at being hosed down and plays with the hose. This boy has a great personality on him but will need an experienced rider or intermediate with a trainer perhaps.
Asking $1800,00 can include tack that was purchased for him for an additional $ 2500.00 (all tack was purchased brand new a month ago and only used a handful of times)
